Short version: Austria is back on the order form. For a while, Vienna was greyed out when you tried to deploy a VPS with us, because the location was full and we do not sell capacity we cannot deliver. As of today a new node is online in Vienna, and both of our VPS lines can be deployed there again: the hourly VPS plans and the streaming VPS plans.
What is back in stock
Nothing about the plans changed. The same six hourly sizes and the same six streaming sizes you can order in Frankfurt or Amsterdam are now available in Vienna too, with the same specifications and the same KVM virtualization underneath.
- Hourly VPS: six sizes from 2 GB to 32 GB of RAM, billed by the hour. Deploy one for an afternoon of testing and delete it when you are done, or keep it running for months. You pay for the hours it existed, nothing more.
- Streaming VPS: the same six sizes on a 10 Gbps port with unmetered traffic, tuned for OBS, RTMP and HLS workloads where sustained outbound throughput matters more than anything else.
Vienna pricing
Vienna carries the same location fee as Frankfurt, so if you already know our German prices you already know the Austrian ones. The table shows the monthly total in Vienna for each plan. Hourly plans follow the same rule with the fee spread across the hours, so a VPS I KVM in Vienna works out at about €0.0077 per hour instead of €0.0056. The order page shows the exact figure for your currency before you confirm.

Why Vienna is worth a look
Vienna sits in the middle of central Europe. Munich, Prague, Bratislava, Budapest, Zagreb and Milan are all a few hundred kilometres away, which puts most of Austria, Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary and southern Germany within a handful of milliseconds. If that is where your users are, Vienna will feel noticeably snappier than a server in Amsterdam, and it keeps data inside the EU and inside Austria for anyone with a residency requirement.
For streamers the story is the same. A Vienna origin with a 10 Gbps port gives you short paths to viewers across the DACH region and the Balkans, and a straightforward hop to the big exchange points in Frankfurt when you push to platforms hosted further west. What is under the hood
The new Vienna node is the same hardware class as the rest of our fleet, and it was built with mirrored SSD storage pools from the first day. Any single disk can fail and the node keeps running and keeps booting, which is the standard we now hold every new node to. Each VPS gets its own KVM virtual machine with dedicated RAM and vCPU, so a busy neighbour cannot eat your resources.
How to order in Vienna
- Open the hourly VPS page or the streaming VPS page and pick a size.
- Choose Austria in the location list. The price updates on the spot.
- Pick your operating system and check out. Hourly plans are live within a couple of minutes.
Existing customers can do the same from the client panel, where the location list on the order form now includes Austria again. If you had a Vienna order refused earlier this year, this is the moment to try again. And if you have any question about the new location, reply to any email from us or open a ticket.
