Ashburn is back in stock. From today you can choose United States in the location list when you order a KVM VPS, and your server is built in Ashburn, Virginia, on a new node that went into service this afternoon. Both VPS lines are included: the hourly VPS plans, billed by the hour, and the streaming VPS plans with a 10 Gbps port.

Ashburn prices, per hour and per month
Ashburn carries a small location fee on top of the base plan price, the same way Frankfurt and Vienna carry theirs. On hourly billing the fee is spread across 720 hours, and an hourly server is capped at 720 hours per month for the size and location you ordered, so leaving one running never bills more than 720 hours in a month.

What we measured from the new node
Before opening the location we pinged our own European servers from the Ashburn node. These are real round trip times, measured on 24 September 2026:

Read that table the other way round and you have the case for Ashburn. A visitor in New York or Toronto talking to a server in Frankfurt pays roughly that 100 ms on every round trip, and opening a secure connection takes several of them before the first byte arrives. Put the server in Virginia and most of that wait disappears for North American users. If your users are in Europe, keep your server in Europe. That really is the whole decision.
Four jobs that belong in Ashburn

Under the hood
The Ashburn node runs AMD EPYC 9754 processors, the 128 core Zen 4c part built for dense virtualisation. Storage is 24 enterprise NVMe drives with power loss protection, arranged in a ZFS pool with parity, so a failed drive gets swapped without losing anyone's data. The uplink is 10 Gbps, and the streaming plans have no per server speed ceiling on it. Every VPS is a full KVM virtual machine with its own kernel and its own RAM allocation, and it runs the same Linux images you already know from our European locations.
