Every VPS provider publishes one price. We publish six plans across five countries, and the country you pick changes the number. This post is the whole grid — what an hourly KVM VPS costs in Bucharest, Warsaw, Amsterdam, Frankfurt and Vienna, per hour and per month, with nothing rounded in our favour.
The five countries you can deploy in
Our hourly VPS and streaming VPS lines share one pool of hypervisors. Today that pool is eight hypervisors spread over five countries, and all five are open for new orders:

Dedicated servers reach further — that catalogue covers twelve countries — but for a VPS these five are the real list, and we would rather print the real list than a map with pins we cannot deliver on. Austria only came back into that list yesterday, after a new Vienna node went in.
The six plans
Every plan is a KVM virtual machine with its own kernel and full root access, with the RAM and vCPU allotted to it rather than shared out of a pool. Storage is SSD-backed, traffic is unmetered, and the port is 1 Gbps on the hourly line.

Monthly price, by country
Bucharest is the base price. The other four carry a location premium that reflects what the floor space and the transit cost us there — €1.00 to €16.00 a month in Warsaw and Amsterdam depending on the plan, €1.50 to €20.00 in Frankfurt and Vienna.

All figures are euro, before VAT where it applies to you. There is no setup fee on any of them.
Hourly price, by country
The hourly rate is not a separate price list. It is the monthly price divided by 720, which is exactly 30 days, rounded to four decimal places. Run a server for a full 30-day month and you have paid the monthly figure above give or take a couple of cents of that rounding; run it for nine hours and you have paid for nine hours.

Worked example: a 16 GB VPS IV in Warsaw for a three-day migration window is 72 hours × €0.0333 = €2.40. The same machine left running all month is €24.00. That is the whole trade-off — hourly is not cheaper per hour, it is cheaper because you stop paying when you delete the server.
How the meter actually works
Being precise about this matters more than any marketing line, so here is the mechanism:
- One deduction per clock hour, at the top of the hour, UTC. Hourly services are prepaid from your account credit, not invoiced in arrears.
- Stopping the VPS does not stop the meter. A powered-off virtual machine still holds its RAM allocation, its disk and its IP address on a node, and it still bills. Only destroying it stops the charges. This is the single most common surprise in pay-as-you-go hosting, and we would rather you read it here than discover it in a ledger.
- A summary invoice closes the month, so your accounting has a document rather than a scroll of hourly ledger lines.
- If credit runs out, there is a one-hour grace period before the service suspends, and a further 48 hours before it is terminated. Low-credit warnings go out before any of that, and automatic top-up is available if you would rather not think about it.
When not to use hourly
If the server is going to run continuously for a year, hourly is the wrong cycle. The same six plans are sold monthly, quarterly and annually, and the annual price is 10% below twelve months of the base rate — €43.20 a year for the 2 GB plan in Bucharest instead of €48.00. The location premium is not discounted, so in Frankfurt or Vienna the saving is a smaller share of a larger bill.
Use hourly for the things that genuinely end: a migration rehearsal, a load test, a conference demo, a build farm that runs on weekdays, a warm standby you only bring up during a maintenance window.
Choosing the country
Price is the easy axis; latency is the one that decides. Some rules of thumb we stand behind:
- Polish or Baltic users → Warsaw. The gap between Frankfurt and Polish consumer ISPs is big enough to feel.
- Romanian, Bulgarian, Moldovan or Greek users → Bucharest, which is also our cheapest location by a clear margin.
- Austrian, Czech, Slovak, Hungarian or southern German users → Vienna.
- Pan-European or transatlantic → Frankfurt or Amsterdam, the two locations with the deepest peering.
- Cost-led with no strong geography → Bucharest. A 32 GB machine there is €58.00 against €78.00 in Vienna, and the hardware class is the same.

What about the 10 Gbps line?
The streaming plans are the same six sizes on a 10 Gbps port with unmetered traffic, sold monthly rather than hourly. They price differently by location — Bucharest is again the base, and Warsaw, Amsterdam, Frankfurt and Vienna all carry the same premium as each other:
