Every plan is a KVM virtual server with its own kernel, vCPU, RAM and SSD storage, isolated from other guests on the host; size the plan with headroom so a busy MetaTrader terminal or multi-EA setup stays responsive. The network port is 100-300 Mbps depending on plan, with unmetered traffic, which is ample: latency and jitter matter far more than raw throughput when an EA fires market orders. Instances deploy in about a minute and include 1 Tbps always-on DDoS protection (L3/L4). Billing is hourly from EUR 0.0056/hour and capped at the monthly price, so a VPS left on 24/7 never exceeds the listed monthly rate.

X-ZoneServers has VPS locations in Frankfurt, Amsterdam and Ashburn (US Virginia), among others. Frankfurt shares a metro with the FR cluster, Amsterdam is roughly 10 ms from London, and Ashburn is an estimated 5-8 ms from NY4, so pick the location nearest your broker. One honest note: VPS images are Linux-only (Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS Stream, AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux), so MT4/MT5 run via Wine, which you install yourself, rather than native Windows. Wine runs MetaTrader and most EAs reliably once configured. Windows is not offered on VPS, so if you require a native Windows desktop, this is not the product for you.

Can I run MetaTrader 4 or MT5 on a Linux Forex VPS?
Yes. Our VPS images are Linux-only, and MT4/MT5 run via Wine, a compatibility layer you install that lets Windows applications run on Linux. Wine runs MetaTrader and most Expert Advisors reliably once configured. Initial setup takes more steps than on Windows.
Do you offer a Windows Forex VPS?
No. VPS images are Linux (Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS Stream, AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux and more), and MetaTrader runs through Wine, which you install yourself. Windows Server is offered only on dedicated servers. If you specifically require native Windows on a VPS, this product is not the right fit.
Which datacenter gives the lowest latency to my broker?
Choose the location closest to your broker's matching engine. Brokers commonly colocate in Equinix FR (Frankfurt), LD4 (London) and NY4 (New York area). Our Frankfurt and Amsterdam locations suit EU brokers in the FR and LD4 clusters (Amsterdam to London is roughly 10 ms), and Ashburn is an estimated 5-8 ms from NY4. Check your broker's server location, then pick the nearest of our seven VPS locations: Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Vienna, Warsaw, Bucharest or Sofia in the EU, or Ashburn (US East).
How much RAM does a Forex VPS need for EAs?
A single MetaTrader terminal with one or two EAs typically uses around 1 GB of RAM. Running several terminals or many charts and indicators usually needs 2 GB or more. Pick a plan with headroom above your terminals' combined usage so your EAs stay responsive during fast markets.
Will my Expert Advisor keep trading if my computer is off?
Yes. The point of a Forex VPS is that the terminal runs on the server, not your PC. Once MetaTrader and your EA are running on the VPS, they keep executing 24/7 even when your home computer or internet connection is off.
