Scaleway states that list prices include egress and IPv6, so on the bandwidth-billing argument we are on the same side. What they add on top is a catalogue we do not have: GPU instances, serverless functions and containers, managed Kubernetes, managed databases, object storage, Apple silicon and generative AI APIs. If you want any of that next to your servers, this comparison is short.
A far cheaper first step
STARDUST1-S lists at €0.0006/hour — roughly €0.43/month for 1 vCPU and 1 GB of RAM. Nothing in our catalogue comes close for a tiny always-on task, a jump host or a cron runner, and pay-as-you-go hourly means you can hold dozens of them for the price of one of our plans.

Scaleway SAS traces back to Online SAS, founded in 1999 by Xavier Niel, runs AS12876, and is one of the reference answers when European procurement asks for a sovereign cloud with published compliance documentation. We are EU-based and GDPR-resident, but we do not carry that depth of enterprise paperwork.
