03المقارنة
Where Vultr is the stronger fit
33 regions in 33 cities — the widest reach on this list
Six continents, including places nobody else here reaches: Johannesburg, Tel Aviv, Santiago, Mexico City, Delhi. If low latency to a specific far-away market is the requirement, Vultr will usually have a region closer than we do, and that decides it before price enters the conversation.
The lowest entry price and a full cloud product line
$2.50/month for an IPv6-only instance is cheaper than anything we sell, and bare metal, GPU, Kubernetes, managed databases, object storage and a CDN all live in the same account. For prototypes, throwaway edge nodes and mixed workloads, that combination is genuinely convenient.
Very fast provisioning and fine-grained billing
Vultr states VX1 instances provision in under 15 seconds and bills hourly on actual usage. Our VPS takes about 60 seconds. If you are churning short-lived instances programmatically, those seconds and that billing granularity add up in their favour.
Where X-ZoneServers is the stronger fit
Unmetered instead of an allowance plus $0.01 per GB
Vultr's entry plan includes 512 GB of bandwidth and the $5 plan includes 1 TB, with overage at $0.01 per GB. Every plan we sell is unmetered with no counter and no overage line. If you are serving video, hosting a mirror, running a VPN or shipping backups, the meter is the thing that eventually decides where you host.
Guaranteed ports to 200 Gbps with published prices
Our dedicated servers are sold by committed port — 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 25, 50, 100 and 200 Gbps — with the monthly price of every chassis at each of its tiers printed on the site. Vultr sells bare metal, but throughput is expressed as an allowance rather than a guaranteed unmetered line.
1 Tbps always-on DDoS protection rather than an add-on, and deeper EU coverage
Vultr sells DDoS protection as a paid option in supported locations. We include 1 Tbps always-on DDoS protection (L3/L4) on every plan at no extra cost, which matters most on exactly the high-bandwidth workloads that attract attacks. We also sell in Austria, Bulgaria and Romania — with VPS in Vienna and Bucharest — where Vultr has no region.

Cheapest usable instance
X-ZoneServers
Nano — 2 GB RAM, 1 vCPU, 20 GB SSD, 100 Mbps port, unmetered — €4.00/mo excluding VAT, or €0.0056/hour.
Vultr
1 vCPU, 512 MB RAM, 10 GB SSD, 512 GB bandwidth — $3.50/mo, or $2.50/mo IPv6-only. Cheaper, with a quarter of the RAM and a metered allowance.
1 GB / 1 vCPU class
X-ZoneServers
Nano at €4.00/mo already provides 2 GB RAM on an unmetered 100 Mbps port, with 20 GB storage against their 25 GB.
Vultr
1 vCPU, 1 GB RAM, 25 GB SSD, 1 TB bandwidth — $5.00/mo, available in 30 of their regions.
A month where you push about 50 TB outbound
X-ZoneServers
10Gbps VPS from €9.99/mo, flat. No transfer line appears on the invoice.
Vultr
Above the plan allowance, outbound bills at $0.01 per GB in North America and Europe. Roughly 49,000 GB of overage on a 1 TB plan is about $490 in bandwidth on top of the instance price.
رأي صريح: Vultr wins the reach argument outright — 33 regions against our 11 dedicated countries and 7 VPS locations, and a cheaper first step onto a server. If your problem is being close to users in Johannesburg, Santiago or Osaka, this page ends there and you should use them. Our case is narrower and specific: no bandwidth meter on any plan, guaranteed ports up to 200 Gbps with published prices, 1 Tbps always-on DDoS protection included rather than sold, and ten European countries including several Vultr does not serve.

Which one should you pick?
Pick X-ZoneServers if
- Bandwidth is metered somewhere else in your stack and that is what you are trying to escape.
- You need a committed 10, 25, 100 or 200 Gbps port with a price you can read off a page.
- Your users are in Southern or Eastern Europe.
- You want 1 Tbps always-on DDoS protection included rather than purchased per location.
Pick Vultr if
- You need a region outside Europe and North America — Africa, the Middle East, South America or East Asia.
- You want the lowest possible entry price on a cloud instance.
- You want GPU, Kubernetes, managed databases or object storage in the same account.
- You churn short-lived instances and want sub-minute provisioning.
06أسئلة
الأسئلة الشائعة
Does Vultr have unmetered bandwidth?
No. Each Cloud Compute plan includes a monthly bandwidth allowance — 512 GB on the $3.50 plan, 1 TB on the $5.00 plan — and Vultr's documentation states that usage above the allocation is billed at an overage rate of $0.01 per GB. Every X-ZoneServers plan is unmetered with no allowance and no overage.
How many locations does Vultr have compared to X-ZoneServers?
Vultr publishes 33 cloud datacenter regions across six continents; X-ZoneServers sells dedicated servers in 11 countries, ten of which are European, and VPS in 7 locations. If you need presence outside Europe and the eastern United States, Vultr's footprint is far wider than ours.
Is Vultr cheaper than X-ZoneServers?
At the entry tier, yes — $2.50/month for an IPv6-only instance or $3.50 with IPv4, against €4.00/month for our Nano. Our Nano gives 2 GB of RAM against their 512 MB and unmetered traffic on a 100 Mbps port against a 512 GB allowance, so compare at the specification you actually need rather than at the first line of the price list.
Does Vultr include DDoS protection?
Vultr offers DDoS protection as a paid add-on in supported locations rather than bundling it with every plan. X-ZoneServers includes 1 Tbps always-on DDoS protection (L3/L4) on every plan at no extra cost.

Disclosure, method and limits
We are one of the providers compared
This page is published by X-ZoneServers (X ZONE IT SRL, Romania). We sell one of the two services compared, so this is a vendor comparison rather than an independent review. Our method is to quote each provider's own published figures, name the date we read them, and state plainly where the other provider is the better choice.
How the numbers are gathered
Competitor data is read directly from that provider's public website — pricing pages, specification sheets, network and location pages — on the dates listed under Sources, plus public network registries such as PeeringDB and bgp.he.net for ASN details. We do not benchmark competitor hardware ourselves and we do not republish figures from review sites or affiliate directories.
How to read the prices
List prices only. Promotional offers, first-term discounts, renewal rates, setup fees, add-ons, region surcharges and currency all differ per provider and can change without notice. X-ZoneServers prices are in EUR excluding VAT. Where another provider publishes in a different currency or inclusive of VAT, that is marked in the table — those figures are not directly comparable to ours without adjustment.
Accuracy and corrections
The goal is that every claim here can be verified at the source in under a minute. Nothing on this page is a benchmark result, a prediction, or a statement about a competitor's internal operations. If a figure has drifted or is wrong — including where the error favours us — write to us and we will correct it and move the review date.
Trademarks and affiliation
All company and product names are the property of their respective owners and are used here for identification and comparison only. X-ZoneServers is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or a reseller of any other provider named on this page.
